It is a new studying branch which was created as the requirement of the society, the want of big computer companies which are wellestablished in the Slovak labour market. Students are prepared to do works in the following areas: diagnostic when looking for errors in the area of hardware, software and computer networks, in suggestion and application of solving protection of important data. They will be able to provide the technical service to a PC, devices on the basis of microcomputers and PLC, by looking for , getting know and spreading programme products of Open Source type, configuration and installation of individual parts as well as the whole PC system, operational systems and applicational programmes and their use. They work with server and network technologies, databases , configuration, installation and servicing of systems in information server, network technologies. They can easily integrate into the practical life via measuring technique and diagnosis of service ability and utility of the individual parts and the whole information sytem, orientation in area of JAVA Technologies products, web service. Their skills can be tested and rewarded with specialised certificates such as ECDL, CCNA, SQL, MySQL, Windows Server, Solaris, Aix, Winows, Linux throughout their studies.
